Celestron CPC 9.25 mount on a wedge

One of the lads at SGL7 has this setup and we've got it talking to ascom etc after a battle BUT what is the mounts home position before power up? Without the wedge I assume dec axis horizontal and Ra axis north. But with a wedge ??? Help please

Make sure you using EQ North as the aligment type...

Tripod setup with the angled wedge face pointing due North...

Align the marks on the ALT (dec) AXIS - the scope tube will be parallel to the wedge face... adjust the AZM (RA) axis so the scope is pointing at the meridan...

Set it up you've described after our chat also checked eq north; all ok

Quick scope alignment on Mars, centred and accepted and connected to starry nights Synced in a few stars in the south and then slewed to Polaris; scope ended up looking north but pointing into the ground 90 degrees from target on Dec
