Moon, Venus & Jupiter March 24,25,26,

Recommended Posts

Hi all.

Undoubtedly this sort of question has been asked before, however I would like to have a go at imaging Venus, Jupiter and the crescent Moon on March 24th, 25th and 26th. They are all in close proximity and I know would make a great shot.

I've got a Canon 60D with 18-135 kit lens.

I do have a tripod, so will be using that.

So, do any of you know what settings would be best for just after sunset?

Hi Gra,

Realise that you've missed the window of opportunity but for future reference I took this one on 27th March.

f/5.6, 10sec exposure, ISO-400, not sure if that's optimum but I was quite pleased with the result, have the raw so could probably pull a few more stars (may over-expose the moon even more though).
