Question for the flextube upgraders

When you upgrade to the goto handset is the handset cable just a standard RJ45 male ended cable that blugs into handset and scope???

The physical plug may be the standard one but you have to be careful of the pin outs. They're very specific and different to e.g. the celestron cables. What you need is the cable that is used to upgrade the software and a serial to usb converter.

If you didn't get the correct cable with the handset then you can get them from FLO, or a made up one from Astronomiser. What I did was buy an AZ Goto mount which comes with the correct cable, and switched the handsets (they're interchangeable).

Then I had an auto mount to sell on. Hope that helps

Yeah that's probably what I'll do when I have enough pennies. Might have to sell some more things but I dont think my walking stick is worth much so does anyone wanna buy a mobilty scooter lol
