University Project

Hi guys,

I am a 2nd year student at the University of Southampton and will be off to the Teide Observatory in Tenerife. We have to basically come up with a project (where we can effectively do anything possible within the restraints of time and resolving power of the telescope).

Problem is I'm completely out of feasible ideas. I wanted to look at the new Supernova in M101, but it won't be very visible according to staralt .

Any help guys?

I'm a frequent visitor to Tenerife, my advice would be to take advantage of the clear nights and better latitude to do almost anything that you can't see from the UK.
