Anyone reviewed celestron neximage?

I was looking to buy this piece of kit. Just wondering if anyone has used it on a regular basis and what type of results did you get? The scope I would be using with it is a cpc 800 schmidt cassegrain

Hello,

The Neximage is a reasonably good webcam type piece of kit. It is easy to use, and you would be able to get some images of planets and lunar features with it using your scope.

Compared to some cameras the resolution is a bit limited. But as a starter camera, you can learn a lot about planetary and lunar imaging using the Neximage, without laying out too much cash.

You can also get an additional lens for the Neximage which gives you a wider fov on targets like the moon.

Cheers for the advice. I might buy it in the next few weeks just to get my feet wet in astrophotography and see how I get on
