6SE 24mm Hyperion and 6.3 focal reducer?

Hi all,

I have a celestron 6SE and the lowest magnification eyepiece that I have is a baader Hyperion 24mm. If I were to get a 6.3 focal reducer, would I get a wider field of view with the above eyepiece or would I just get vignetting?

I think you will get vignetting. The Hyperion 24 has the largest field stop possible for a 1.25" eyepiece. The 6SE has 1.25" baffle tube which limits the field.
