hi all wanted to see if i could get a new focul piece for my 130 p the 1 it comes with is a bit to stif on the focus part any help would be great

Does the focusor have a locking screw, if so this could be a bit tight..??

Is it stiff all the time? Mine on the Evostar gets stiff when it is cold. It is a result of the cheapo Chinese grease they use goes really thick and feels like half set glue. If so try cleaning this off (away from the scope and lenses I must add) and replace that cheap Chinese grease with some automotive silicon grease.

i like the cheap option first thanks for the tip will try this and then see about getting a moon light newtonian focuser all the best and thanks again

The Baader Steeltrack has an excellent price for its quality. We are using one here on a very seriously expensive imaging rig.
