MatthewC
Hi guys. I am looking for feedback on this particular range of eyepiece. I want to buy a couple of eps specifically for planetary observation but not keen on the very short eye relief and small eye lens on orthos or plossls .Would these be a good compromise? hobbesy
I have a 25mm and it's very good. Nice and bright and sharp. Might not be quite up to scratch if you're used to TV nags though...
andrew63
I have a couple of the older version LV, the newer NLV have better coatings. They are very good eyepieces and i use them for the same reason as your post suggests. I don't think they are much of a compromise - top class japanese glass, very sharp.Hopefully you get some response from actual NLV users. They have been on offer at FLO, the longer ones only i think at £59, and when you think, field of view apart they match for sharpness a radian!andrew

hobbesy
Let me know how it is, if you don't mind. I can't decide whether to get a 5/6mm or a Barlow to go with the Hyp zoom.
