Few images attached from my first trip, my first attempt at imaging the Aurora. Conditions were pretty crappy on the whole, but managed to get a few shots.

Looking forward to being back in Iceland in 3 weeks time to give it another go and again in October.

Should be ok, just depends where you are staying though, the trips I do as astronomer we take groups out into the styx first and then have the last eve on the outskirts of Reykjavik.

Take plenty of cash... not a cheap place to be!

Ok, look at areas near Gulfoss which is quite dark
