First ISS using scope

Stargazer Jack

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I tried to image the ISS tonight and did OK. I tried to get it when it went past a star in Orion's Belt however I completly missed it somehow. I then tried to follow it and thought I had missed it again but when I went over the frames, I got it in 3 frames :) I am going to try again with the later pass and was wondering if I need to change anything like the exposure or gain. The settings before were: [Philips SPC 900NC PC Camera]

Frame Divisor=1

Resolution=640x480

Frame Rate (fps)=25.00

Colour Space / Compression=YUY2

Exposure=-7

Brightness=93

Contrast=32

Saturation=0

Gamma=16

ColorEnable=255

BacklightCompensation=0

Gain=24

The GIF is not very good but oh well. Any advice welcome :(
