Scope Cases

Where can I get a decent (but not eye-wateringly expensive) hard case for my scopes?

The Maplin ones are unfortunately not long enough for my my 'frac and long\deep enough for the Newt.

Any ideas? Perhaps musical instrument cases?

Have you thought about using a pro audio case? I have used the eBay seller below for various cases. Although they are in Germany, they build and despatch them very quickly - certainly no more than a week.

The main website which can be found via google has lots of different size truck cases available. Prices are very reasonable considering the size of the cases. Initially the text is in German, but there is an English converter button somewhere if memory serves. Google Chrome will also translate it to English for you.

A bit of additional foam inside the case and you would be all set.

telescope service have some but they're about £100 and they don't do one for an 80mm. 70, yes. 90? No problem...
