Latitude lock

Hi all!

I got my telescope with EQ1 mount for awhile and I am pretty sure that now it's properly balanced. I still have one problem though. The metal lock for the altitude is getting loosen all the time. I set it to the right position but after awhile it gets loosen again and it starts moving. Maybe I am not strong enough, but giving my best, I can't make it work.

What can I do to fix this? Thanks in advance!

There should be a wing tip screw that goes in beneath the altitude gauge, parallel to the RA axis. Do you have that?

It would appear you are missing a screw, see the picture above. You can even see the screw hole in your first picture right at the bottom left.

I do! I had this screw waiting to be put on and then I totally forgot about it! That solves it! Thanks allot for the help I really missed that part.
