Decent Barlow

I will be buying a barlow soon and was wondering if someone could could recommend a decent one, also would I be better off with a 2x or a 3x on a 200P dob?

The usual suspects are the TAL 2x and 3x, the Celestron Ultima 2x and it's clone the Orion Shorty Plus and the Tele Vue 2x and 3x. Prices for those range from £35 to £80+. I've seen the Revelation 2.5x get good reviews here too.

As for 2x or 3x and the 200P, it depends on the eyepieces that are going to be used. The normal advice of 200x - 240x being about as high magnification as is practical applies of course.

I've listed 1.25" barlows here but there are 2" options as well.
