Didn't Celestron have CF tube as an option for their SCT a few years ago. May be just post a wanted ad on ABS and get that to replace your current C925. It may work out cheaper.

Yes they did!..... I can't see anyone selling a C9.25 OTA CF for $270 though.

The OP has an Al tube c925. I thought he wants a CF upgrade. If he buys a CF one and sells his Al one, the differences between the two may cost less than the upgrade.

A quick search on ABS archive for carbon C925 showed a number of them sold for between £700 - £900 in the last few years. An Al tube one is about £750 used.
