Big Orange thing arrived in a box today! (Orange is better!) :)

Well I finished work last night at 03:45 am (sunday morning) the moon was out and looked good but the haze made no other stars visible. I was temped at this time to get the scope out to break it's virginity but the daytime was comming. The sky was blue rather than black. I notice sky is only black between around midnight and 2 am here in Oxford, UK.

Do we get better viewing in winter when it seems to be dark all day long? :)

Or north of Finland looks promising only 4 hours of daylight a day but pursuading the Mrs. to move location may be a little more of a problem :)

Kindest regards David
