Handy small camera tripod for binoculars

I originally purchased this as a light-weight camera tripod, but then thought it might also make a handy binocular tripod too, and it does.

It works really well with my Bushnell 8x42, though anything much heavier and the tripod might fall over as the L bracket positioning means that they overhang quite a bit off the ideal centre of gravity.

Here it is: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B000A1T168

At the time of writing it costs £16 and is a surprisingly good tripod for this money, very nicely constructed and feels nice and firm. I found that it is best used with the legs fully extended on a table top.
