Recommended Posts

On Wednesday 25 January at 7.30pm, Bradford on Avon Library will be hosting a talk from Wiltshire based science writer Brian Clegg. He will be exploring what happened before the big bang. This will be an accessible event for adults, and tickets cost £3 each. You can contact the library on 01225 863280.

On Wednesday 1 February at 7.30pm, Brian Clegg will be at Pewsey Library with a talk based on his new book How To Build A Time Machine. It might seem like fiction, but there is nothing in the laws of physics that prevents time travel. Brian explores the extreme physics that makes travel into the future or past a possibility. Johnny Ball said of Brian's book: "Brian Clegg conjectures on the totally conjectural world of time and space travel and brings it all beautifully down to earth. Brilliant." This will be an accessible event for adults, and tickets cost £3 each. You can contact the library on 01672 562265.

Throughout January and February, Bradford on Avon Library is also hosting a set of books designed to appeal to those who are interested in space, stargazing, and space travel. Plenty of books to look at and borrow!
