Hi.

Does anyone know if there is such a thing as a T mount for my Panasonic Lumix DMC FZ7. I have one for my Canon 350D, but I am hoping to be able to use the Lumix as it is much lighter and wont be as much a strain on the mount as the Canon.

As it doesn't have a detachable lens you will have to use if afocally (camera lens + eyepiece), so a T mount is probably not what you need. I see you can can a lens converter thing for it with a 55mm thread, so in principle you can couple it to an eyepiece with a 55-T2 converter and a T2 collar for the eyepiece (or use an eyepiece which has a built in thread). The alternative is one of those digiscoping adapters which clamp the camera to the eyepiece.

I have just discovered that if remove the eyepiece adapter from my 200mm celestron reflector I can mount the camera in the focuser tube. I don't know if I can achieve focus yet, I will try later when I get a chance.
