The EQ3-2 is a seriously underrated mount head.

I'm sure it is and it all come down to what you put on it I believe.

example:

my EQ1 + Megrez 72 = bad idea

however my EQ1 + Lumix GF1 = perfect

back to the EQ3, putting a heavy scope on it might not be a good move, but if you stick to small sized scopes within the load limits it will work nicely.

I've seen quite a few threads on this forum from users getting some amazing pictures with an EQ3-2 mount :icon_salut:
