Jupiter and Venus

Recommended Posts

I have just seen Jupiter and Venus properly for the first time through my 80ED.

I could make out 3 moons around Jupiter with a 28mm eye piece but when I used a 4mm plossl...... wow! I could see many bands of colour and 4 moons.

As for Venus, it is very bright but also low in the sky so is being affected quite badly with light polution and atmosphere but still good to have had a look at it.
