Noob question about my mirror

Hi All

I took my scope apart last night to flock the tube. When i took the Primary Mirror off i sat it down carefully and had a good look at it. Now the scope i have (in my sig) is described as having a "Parabolic Primary Mirror" but as far as i could tell it appeared totally flat.

Am i being dumb or is there a problem?

It wouldn't work if the primary mirror was flat!! Are you mixing up primary and secondary perchance?

You can't see the curves ! - we are talking about really tiny amounts of curvature here. An F/8 mirror is only very, very, very slightly concave.
