or the circumferance around the clamping area please.

You could measure this by wrapping a strip of paper around the tube, carefully mark the paper with a pencil, then lay the paper flat and measure with a ruler/tape.

Oh Hi Hugh ;-) .......well spotted you!!

Ed, I don't have the scope yet, it seems I just bought it from 'TheThing' & it is winging it's way to me now, but I wanted to get ahead of the game by getting some tube rings ordered up in the slight hope that they might arrive by Saturday evening which is when I am next planning on observing. If I wait until the scope arrives & then measure up, I wont get the tube rings in time ;-(

It is the same scope as the SkyWatcher 102T short tube I think (looks very similar), so if anyone can help me out with a bit of advice on the diameter tube rings to use, I'll get ordering from FLO straight away ;-)

(& yes, I did drop FLO a mail & they also replied 'measure it' ;-) )
