Odd Thomas Posted January 9, 2012 Share Posted January 9, 2012 Hi Bugswisher,the fact that both these scopes are mounted on the same cg-4 eq mount makes the comparison somewhat easier.The 150 being a reflector will need slightly more upkeep, ie it will need collimating every so often. (not a major task)What are your interests in astronomy? The 150 will be better for deep sky objects, the 120 will permit higher magnifications for the moon & planets.The 120 will be easier to transport to dark sites.My personal preferance would be for the 120, but I like refractors!
