Hi Bugswisher,

the fact that both these scopes are mounted on the same cg-4 eq mount makes the comparison somewhat easier.

The 150 being a reflector will need slightly more upkeep, ie it will need collimating every so often. (not a major task)

What are your interests in astronomy? The 150 will be better for deep sky objects, the 120 will permit higher magnifications for the moon & planets.

The 120 will be easier to transport to dark sites.

My personal preferance would be for the 120, but I like refractors! :(
