Keep finding myself thinking that I don't actually know anyone who would own a more or less serious scope and spend as much time as I do on related gadgets, mods, cooling the scope, looking up, playing with the webcam attached to it...

In a hobby where it's expected for someone to spend £1K+ on a telescope and mount but frowned upon for them to actually buy a red torch instead of painting nail varnish on something that cost two quid from the corner shop?
