Help with motorised Skywatcher Explorer 130m

Ok tonight I have been out for the first time with my Skywatcher Explorer 130m, and its the first time i have connected the motor drive to this and everything appears to be connected correctly and the motor is linking with the driven wheel ok an its being driven

My problem appears to be that although its being driven i don't seem to be able track an object correctly, i can't gaurantee it's 100% accuratly polar aligned but its pretty close but still don't seem to be able to track objects at all.

Has anyone with this scope had the same problem, or does anyone have any suggestions as to where I am going wrong?
