Venus before lunch!

I was in the back garden with the bino's at about 12:00, looking for the cresent moon through the patchy cloud. I found the moon, then lost it in some passing cloud. While looking for it again I stumbled upon Venus. :shock: Although it was really bright in the bino's, I count myself lucky to have found it, especially without meaning to!

Thanks for the tip Legion, just found Venus myself. In the 10X50 Bins. its just over one FOV to the left of the moon.

Tip here guys, get in the shade from the sun, then you can't blind yourself. The moon is to the left of the sun by 70 degrees or so and up, so you should get well into the shade before missing the moon.
