M42 a work in progress

My first real attempt at this one - 1h 30m in 5min subs with 21 x 30 sec subs for the core. Stacked in DSS and combined and fiddled about with in Photoshop. ED80PRO, Canon 1000D ISO800 all on a guided HEQ5. This is cropped - I have no intention of doing a big mosaic! I can only get around 90mins to 2 hours imaging before M42 hides behind a neighbours tree - so building up this image may prove to be a long job.
