Horizon 8115 tripod. Should I buy one?

Would a Horizon 8115 tripod sucessfully support a startravel 102 refractor scope only I know someone who has got one for sale.Does anyone know the weight of a startravel 102.Thanks.

I've owned both and the Horizon would support a Startravel 102 but it's only usable for low / medium power observing. I preferred the ST 102 on an AZ-3 mount as it's more stable.

Thanks once again John I should explain that I want use the 8115 as well as the AZ3 mount not instead of it.I want to use the 102 as a terrestrial scope as well as an astronomy scope and I intend to leave the 8115 in the car.Any thanks again for the info its appreciated.
