Giant prom and giant filament: still there! (11-14-2011)

They're still there: the largest prominence and the largest filament I've ever seen. Today, during lunch break, I made my second pastel sketch of this beautiful couple through my 70mm h-alpha telescope. Time was a bit short, so sadly I couldn't draw every detail on the Sun's disk, so I mainly focused on the filament and the prominence. It took about an hour to completely finish the sketch. Later at home, I colorized the originally b&w sketch digitally and made a larger cut-out of the prominence.
