Large prom in Ha and Cak

My own rendition of yesterday's large south polar prominence in Ha and Cak. PST for the Ha, Lunt CaK and ST102 for the CaK. SPC900 mono chip.

I agree, wowsers! I was socked in this weekend (yes Arizona has clouds), and didnt see a darn thing. Your kewl shots really brings it home for me. I was dying to know if this was visible in CaK, and now WE ALL KNOW from your magnificent image.

Thanks Chris. I was lucky on the 12th, since then I have hardly seen the sun. Also the low elevation of the sun here at 58 degrees N is definitely affecting imaging quality for close ups. I've been pleasantly surprised how clear the CaK remains though.
