Image Stacking.

Can image stacking be done in PhotoShop or is there a program that gets better results? If so could you please recommend me to some.

Planetary/Lunar in Registax or Castrator/Autostakkert (planetary). DS stacking in Nebulosity, DSS and other.

As above, there are lots. Deep Sky Stacker for deep sky images is free and works for me much of the time. I tend to use AstroArt in preference because I feel I can control it more fully but that may just be a case of Read The Blanking Manual...

AstroArt is a good value astro imaging package.

Of course, you can stack the images in DSS, and move the resulting stack to PhotoShop for image manipulation and processing. Just save the resulting stack with changes embedded, but not implimented in DSS !
