2" Filter with T Ring?

I've tried to search for the answer to this but there are so many threads on filters I haven't hit on the answer.

I have a 200 P DS and want to get a UHC filter for it for both visual and use with my DSLR.

I haven't been able to work out if a 2" filter can be fitted between the focuser and the T ring?

Help please.

If you are connecting to the t-thread on the focuser, then no you can't add the filter in the position you suggest in this configuration.

If you are using a 2" nosepiece then you can normally put a 2" filter on the end of that.

Focusing may become an issue with the latter option.

Alternatively for some cameras you can get "clip in" filters that go in the body

You'll be needing a coma corrector really, in which case the 2" filter would fit onto the threaded front end of that.
