M42 + m32 with bins

Just been out with my bins looking at Jupiter inbetween some light cloud and could make out Io, Europa, Ganymede and Calisto but the cloud kept blocking my view, so I went to put the kettle on for a coffee to warm me up a bit. When I came back out someone blew all the clouds away for me,:) by this time Orion was visable over the top of the neighbours tree. I could just make out M42 west of Rigel,:D it looked like two stars close together covered in a light cloud through my bins at 24x mag. seeing that it was really clear I thought I would try to find M32. I knew roughly where to look thanks to stellarium and could just make out a very faint fuzz before the cloud set in again. All in all a good hour and a half of viewing, can't wait to get my first scope now.

Clear skies. Daz.
