rfdesigner
fizzpupSome of our expensive electronics kit at work comes in expanded foam.i.e. the kind of foam you use in DIY for filling spaces.. comes in a can.The way it's done is to use a large plastic bag, put the kit in the middle of the box, then put the bag on top such that the kit is outside the bag, then fill the bag slowly with the foam, making sure it's all pushed down tightly around the kit... a sort of DIY expanded polystyrene style packaging.Once 'hard', then remove the block of foam turn over, place kit into now perfect gap for it, and repeat above procedure for the other half of the packaging.I'm not saying it's the best way of packing a scope, just one idea.Derek
