Hi I am looking at getting a Lumicon Deep Sky or Astronomik CLS 2" filter for use with my DSLR but am a bit confused as to whether these filters are also any good for observing as well. I have an 80mm F6.25 refractor and have two sodium street lamps either side of my garden and live in a fairly light polluted suberb.

Grateful for anyone's views.
