Registar mosaics - Pane trimming...?

I thought I'd better try and get to grips with Registar as I have a feeling it's going to be a large part of my imaging from now on... I thought I'd first try emulating a 6 pane mosaic which I'd previously put together (quite successfully) with PS/automate/photomerge. I'd previously set the same black point on all 6 panes but when I got the Registar output (having first registered, then calibrated all and then combined) I could see all the joins quite easily.

Is there a switch I'm missing in Registar to blend the panes in together, or should I first trim off a few pixels around the edge of each pane first?
