I seriously can't wait for IC434 to show up earlier. It's the subject I've wanted to photograph for a decade, and one of the first images I remember seeing in a book. It's even on the cover of one of the first astro book I read (A Collins guide, I think).

Interestingly, I was showing prints of these to someone today, and they preferred this one over the one of M42. They said they liked the grain in this one. I know what they mean. It feels...photographic. I get excited just looking at it. Makes me feel like a kid again. :)
