Hi all

Wilst setting up my alignment tonight I used Dubhe as one of my stars.

It was so impressive I just had to get a pic.

I think you could safely say that.

I know what you mean about the Christmas card bright isn't it. lol

Granted it is a touch out of focus but as I had already achieved the focus I wanted as per the star in the background to find M101 I did not want to adjust it.

I was just staggared by the colour. This photo is completely as it was taken, no filters or processing.
