After much faffing and head scratching... well lets face its thats pretty normal.

I have the Finder Guider working, imo it seems to guide better than a scope.

and both scopes the 80 and 100 are now busy gathering data

It was quiet a shock at my guide chart i had visions of the alps

Sounds great - I just looked at that graph in PhD on my QHY5/ST80 (for the first time) that's guiding for the Veil Nebula and it doesn't look anywhere near as smooth as that - might have to try this finder guiding stuff - would save weight too.
