connect stellarium to meade ?

hi there , im wondering how to connect my laptop running stellarium to my meade ldx mount , i used have a 127 mak goto , and you plugged the cable from serial port on laptop into the hand set , but the serial port cable does not fit the spare input on the meade handset , but it fits into the main box on the mount ,but that is where the handset plugs in ??? help ??

I think you have to buy a new cable or modify the one you have. I think should be like this: Weasner's Meade Autostar Information
