DSLR Dew Heater?

I have dew heater for both guide and imaging telescopes. The DSLR is mounted on a 2" extender where a filter is mounted. Now I am thinking that perhaps I need a dew heater around the extender. Do I need to do this?

It should be fine... It's normally the outer surfaces that suffer from dew ...

The exception being that you sometimes get dew forming on inner surfaces when your using actively cooled "proper" astro cams...in this case people sometimes use a dew heater to keep the "window" clear...

That sounds good to me. It was an idle thought this morning seeing the first positive dew on the greenhouse.
