Kevdan
Hi Al,Can anyone tell me what im doing wrong, I took a load of pics last night of M31 and when i try to put them through registax the finished image is like a picasso with big abstract angles and shapes and a few horizontal or vertical line thrown in for good measure. I have done a few at a time and its the same. Also when in photoshop CS5 do i need to adjust the mode to 16bit and do i need to adjust anythingelse before altering curves and levels.Thanks,Kev. Glen
Hi Kev, Registax is used for planet's moon and sun mostly, give deepskystacker a goIt'll handle the pictures better. There is loads of info on here about it http://deepskystacker.free.fr/english/index.html
TheThing
Can you post the image here please? Sometimes more helpful to see what is going on.Also, what equipment did you use, how many shots stacked, how long where the exposures, did you use lights/darks etc?TheThingSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
