Sheffield astronomical society

Recommended Posts

I've not visited this club, but most of them are friendly and willing to welcome prospective members.

So if it were me, I'd just go along to a meeting and see how you get on. If you are a newbie, don't worry, as we all were once.

With my own club, we do beginners evenings, advanced evenings, and all points between, so I always say to new folk to try us for a while.

Hope you enjoy it, and find a new bunch of friends, Ed.

Thanks Ed for your reply.Ive looked on their website and it seems a nice little club. They do lectures, beginners classes and stargazing (weather pending) so i think ill give it a go.There are other clubs quite nearby but sheffieldastro is the nearest but i wont rule out trying other local clubs either.Again many thanks Ed:)
