Sheffield astronomical society

Hi everyone.Does anybody on here go to the sheffield astronomical society? Im just wondering what type of club it is as im thinking of going with a view to joining if i like it.Ta!

I've not visited this club, but most of them are friendly and willing to welcome prospective members.

So if it were me, I'd just go along to a meeting and see how you get on. If you are a newbie, don't worry, as we all were once.

With my own club, we do beginners evenings, advanced evenings, and all points between, so I always say to new folk to try us for a while.

Thanks Ed for your reply.Ive looked on their website and it seems a nice little club.They do lectures,beginners classes and stargazing (weather pending) so i think ill give it a go.There are other clubs quite nearby but sheffieldastro is the nearest but i wont rule out trying other local clubs either.Again many thanks Ed:)
