Tamron CT-200 200MM F3.5

I was just discussing the potential purchase of a new lens with my dad and he remembered he had this old lens (from 1976 he thinks)....

Anyway really long shot but is there any sort of adapter I could purchase to hook this lens up to my canon 1000D body?
