What is the recommended modification for a 1000d for use with 9.25 SCT?

Hi

I might be on the verge of purchasing a 1000d camera and was wondering what the recommended modification is for this camera for use with my CPC925 scope?

In old discussions that I have read briefly it seems as though there was debate as to what filter replacement/removals are actually worth doing for this camera.

Obviously I want to do this to get more colour from the camera.

Any advice is appreciated.

Filter replacement rather than just removal because you still have glass elements in the optical train. I'm getting mine done in a couple of months.

Which replacement filter is the recommended one?

I used a Baader BCF at the time there wasn't anything specific for the 1000D (camera had only been out for a few months) but a bit of digging by Bern at Modern Astronomy ended up with me using the one for the 400/40D
