Awaiting the moon!

So LPI purchased for £30...not opened so it seems as new..

Software installed on XP...no issues.

Camera connected using 5m USB extension cable..seems fine.

Picture of neighbours TV ariel acquired...

Now where is that moon!

OK first images coming in..Pretty tough to get images with a non tracking dob!

It does try hard to latch on to a crater and track it and sometimes if there is good focus it does combine!

Good work! Excellent result for a non tracking dob.

Was that the LPi from Astro buy sell? Bit of a bargain.

They are very good cameras for lunar imaging. The software is very good too as it does the stacking for you.

I think you can use SharpCap, wxCapture and/or K3CCDTools as the capture software instead and stack in Registax.
