Hi guys

im outside now on what is the clearest night ive had in months, Im trying to photograph the moon, with my dslr attached using a dslr ring to my 10 inch dob telescope. Simple question, how on earth do i get it to focus?! I point the scope at the moon, look at my camera display and just see a blurred bright white circle. Ive adjusted ISO to about 200, and shutter speed is about 1/500

PLEASE HELP!

I can do it with my 12" Orion, but just barely. Some focusers just don't have the in travel to make it happen...I think in these situations the only solution is a low profile focusser.

Seems to be a common problem, there are a couple of threads in the beginners section, including my own, about the same subject.

It seems the camera cannot get close enough to focus so it is either mod your eyepiece holder, move the primary mirror up the tube or use a barlow.

Check out the recent threads, there are a couple of useful links in them too.
