Revisiting a friend.. m81 & m81, first light with PixInsight

M81 was my first ever DSO, so revisiting this is humbling experience. Firstly my alignment is so bad that PHD took 50+ in each direction and even then I don't think it really did much.

It's also the first time I've used PixInsight on a trial licence. I'm used to the way it works (i.e. a gui that integrates a set of command line tools).

However, here it is scaled to 800x603 from the 383's native resolution:

More data is needed but I tried correcting for longer exposures but only made it worse :/ I then switched to M57 but managed to leave the binning at 1x 2y :/ pity as the camera with the cooling has some great potential..
