Finally managed to spot one of the brightest flares after too much cloud and not wanting to get up at 3am!

Really bright, could see the satellite for quite a while before the flare so was able to pick it up in the binos. Quite amazing.

I do admire the chap behind heavens above for being able to calculate the flares so accurately
